As a writer rather bound, as a reader I take both ;-)
Amazon or bookstore?
Amazon rarely more, much much better in my book trade in the city, where I incidentally also order online and my books can even be delivered, if I can not enter into the city.

Order author, title, or?
My books are completely disorganized. They swell from shelves stacked, on window ledges, hide in niches that are in the bathroom on the toilet, kitchen, tables, chairs and even the floor. Strangely, I find almost every book right away, it's as if I would feel, where in the mountains of books resides a book.
hold, sell or throw away?
retention. (Almost) always. A few attempts I started with BookCrossing, without much success. Copies will of course continue to give away, preferably to the children's hospice and the people who were helping me write to the side.
keep dust jacket or throw away?
keep course.
read with jacket or without?
Always.
short story or novel?
Fast only novels.
quitting when one is tired or if the chapter is over?
compel me most other circumstances to quit, later than the fact that I'm in the middle of the night with his nose in the book wake up ;-)

Because I feel like with the books. I read everything by Cornelia Funke, but not everything I like, I read ALL of Astrid Lindgren, but not everything I like. Andreas Steinhöfel Moeyaert heard of my favorite authors and beard. In any case, more children and young people.
